Designed specifically for polar and oceanographic research, the 50-passenger Spirit of Enderby is an ice-strengthened expedition vessel which was fully refurbished in 2013. It features a dedicated lecture theater for presentations on the natural and human history of your destination, together with a combined bar/library lounge where you can relax with fellow guests. The cabins are designed to be comfortable and functional, with outside portholes or windows and plenty of storage space, and the choice of either private or shared bathroom facilities. Expeditions are complemented by fine cuisine, prepared by highly-skilled chefs from Australia and New Zealand.

Okay at best..

The biggest issue for me was safety. Not a lot of handrails to hold on to in rough weather which kinda had me freaked out a few times, so do not expect luxury. The Islands and polar ice caps are something to behold though, which in good weather makes for some excellent photo ops. Communication and the ability to have dialogue with the captain was nonexistent but the overall expedition was good for me.
